This league has a long history at the park. It has taught baseball to several generations and in recent years started offering softball for girls. As the league continues to do it's best to grow within our community it has accomplished several improvements for the organization and hopes to continue to improve and grow.
Registration fees for the 2022 baseball and softball seasons will be posted before registration goes live.
Please keep in mind that fees have had to increase due to price increases in items needed to run the league. Everything from chalk to baseballs has increased. A national shortage of umpires is also placing a strain on pricing.
Fundraising is very important to the day to day operations of the League. While the season is not the entire year, the league operates all year. This includes web fees, insurance, replacement of equipment, and supplies. Basically, your registration runs the season. Your fundraising runs and grows the league.
We ask that each family participate in the fundraising and pass our information along to any individuals, organizations, or businesses who would like to support us.
The economic hardships have affected our families, community, and our sponsors. Many of our sponsors are local, small businesses who have suffered setbacks.
Our seasons typically begin the last week of April and continue to the end of June. Weather and scheduling can sometimes push that out to the middle of July to ensure a full season. Older levels of play that have High School players may start later because of IHSA eligibility.
Game scheduling is done once teams are set and rostered. Games are scheduled Monday through Saturday. Games are normally not scheduled on Sunday.
Games will not be scheduled Memorial Day weekend or Independence Day weekend (in the event of July games).
